In the fall of 2007, Encore Construction and Wilkinson Design for Construction entered a partnership three years in the planning. Based on their work together as the founding leaders of the Cape Cod Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Encore Owner, Dale Nikula and WDC Co-Owner, Lyn Wilkinson committed their firms to achieving a common goal:

Building NARI Cape Cod into a successful and influential business operation highlighted the synergistic ways in which each ran their own companies. Aligned in the areas of reputation, quality of project, integrity of experience for the client, company culture, values and even logo colors, each firm recognized the other’s preference in one area – WDC for design and Encore for construction.

Underlining the opportunity for a fresh approach to the Design Build process, each firm was awarded a Hanley∆Wood “Big 50” award in 2007, given nationally to just 50 remodeling firms per year for setting the standard for professionalism and integrity in the construction industry. And both have received NARI Eastern Mass Contractor of The Year (CotY) Awards for projects they’ve designed and built.
