Why Design Matters

“Design is art optimized to meet objectives”
                                                                                        Shimon Schmueli, Founder, Touch 360

Design is a choice. It shapes the way we live. It requires challenge solving. It is not a plan for decoration, but a form of competitive advantage. It organizes materials and processes, creating order out of chaos. More design equals better results.

Design is communication. It helps us understand complex ideas in the shortest possible time using visual language. A picture is still worth a thousand words.

Design is an attitude. It is what you do, not what you’ve done. It is a learning experience where we seek resolution through collaboration and teamwork.

Design, in the end, is about creating better living for people

The habit of calling a finished product a Design is convenient but wrong. Design is what you do, not what you've done.
